Thistalkwilladdressthep,thechallengesthattoday’sarchitectureandtechnologyarefacingwillbediscussed;thiswillmotivatenotonlytheneedofnewarchitectures,butalsotheneedofnewtechnolog,theconceptofcomputation-in-memory(CIM)willbedefin,aclassificationofCIMarchitectureswillbeprovided,,usingthebasicfundamentalsofmemristivedevicesandtheirpotentialformemory,logicandarithmeticdesigns,,thehugepotentialofsucharchitectureinrealizingorderofmagnitudeimprovementintermsofcomputingandenergyefficiencyisillustratedbycomparied. Hamdiouiownstwopatents,haspublishedonebookandcontributedtoothertwo,tation-in-memoryarchitecturebasedonresistivedevices(http:///).Heisco-founderofCognitiveIC(astartuponhardwaredependability).Heistherecipientofmanyinternational/nationalawards,hasconsultedformanysemiconductorcompanies,andhasservedontheeditorialboardofdifferentjournals.。
